I have been pursuing spiritual growth and maturity for approximately 40 years. Ray's book is clearly God's plan for the next step in my spiritual growth. The book is clear, well written, supported by many scriptures, and has very practical ways to increase in understanding of God's love for us and our position as His son or daughter. A good example is how Ray articulates what each moment should be like as we walk through a day as we face both blessings and hardships: (1) Intentionally stay present; (2) Chose reality; and (3) Connect with God. I especially like his contrast of God's Kingdom built on Righteousness, Peace and Joy vs the world's system built on Blame, Fear and Shame and how they connect. For example, if we are living in fear, we are robbed of our peace. I would encourage you to buy several copies as you will want to hand out some to family and friends as I have been doing.

This book has provided me with the practical steps I’ve needed to truly thrive day to day. Often overwhelmed by my emotions, I’ve struggled with depression/anxiety. I’ve found the guidance in these chapters tremendously helpful. The book begins by laying out the basic beliefs we must hold fast. The middle chapters include simple instruction on how to do the inner work that leads to the freedom and joy I believe we long all for. Throughout, Ray elucidates the most powerful and groundbreaking points of the gospel, helping you to see yourself and the world in a new light.

I read Ray's book and while on a business trip to meet my new boss, I encountered stress, anxiety and accusation that defied logic. I took the principles of Identity Restoration and went to the Father with my feelings. I invited him in to find the root of those feelings and boy did He. I was able to deal with the root, forgive some issues, see with new eyes and enable my heart to function the way the Father intended. My fear and anxiety left and has not come back and my new boss has been happy with my efforts. More than that, I am free from some something that has plagued me for most of my adult life and never understood why. Thank you Father and Thank you Ray!
